What is Flash?

Flash is a packaged produced by Macromedia which allows web designers to add animated and interactive movies to web pages.

Web designers often use Flash to liven up areas of web sites with animated banners and video sections.

In order to view flash content users must have a free flash plug-in installed in their browser.
